People have an extraordinary capacity to influence their own wellbeing — far more than most of us are ever taught. The Mind‑Body Healing Project exists to help people reconnect with that inner ability using simple, evidence‑based mind–body tools, while building the scientific foundation needed for these approaches to be used confidently within UK healthcare. With the right guidance, anyone can learn to regulate stress, ease the body, and feel more in control of their health.

What makes us different is our dual focus: empowering individuals and working with the NHS to develop a credible, research‑driven model for prevention and supported self‑management. Our work centres on EFT tapping and affirmations — gentle practices already backed by a growing evidence base — and we are developing a structured research programme to explore how these tools can support a wider range of health conditions in a safe, measurable, and clinically aligned way.

This approach fits directly with NHS priorities around prevention, emotional wellbeing, and reducing pressure on frontline services. By equipping individuals with simple self‑management tools, we aim to reduce the impact of stress on physical health and support early intervention before symptoms escalate.

Right now, we’re in the exciting early stages: setting up the charity and beginning conversations with the NHS and other partners interested in practical, preventative approaches to wellbeing.
